Carlo Palagi

 

 

    Carlo Palagi, guitarist from Versilia, graduated at the Music Conservatoire P. Mascagni of Livorno (italy), where he received also his Master degree under the guidance of M° Flavio Cucchi.

        In more than fifteen years of career, he has performed in various contexts, from classical to jazz, from folk to early music. Currently he plays regularly in duo with guitarist Roberto Magri and with the world music group "Oracle". Eclectic composer, he has recently released a CD of his compositions titled "Elegy", which he has got a great succes from critics and audiences. The disc was released by the magazine Guitart who oversaw the publication of the music.

          Other compositions are included in the CD "Lys" made with Oracle. Some songs are broadcasted by radio networks and national and international televisions.

         Besides guitarist, Carlo is also director of the Choir of St. Michael in Corsanico (IT) and guitar teacher in National High Schools and Music Schools.
